You know your child better than anyone
This is a space where that knowledge matters
BEAM Inclusion was built from two places. Professional experience spanning over 20 years, and my own as a parent of an autistic child with a PDA profile. I know and understand this world from both sides, and that shapes everything about how I work.
Hi, I'm Jemma
I started BEAM Inclusion because I didn’t want another parent to feel as alone as I once did.
I come to this work from two directions, a career in the field, and raising my own autistic child with a PDA profile. What I’ve learned from both sides is that families and professionals shouldn’t be pitched against each other. We need each other’s knowledge, and each other’s understanding.
You can have power without losing yourself. That’s what I want to help build.
Ways I work
There are two main ways I work. Both start with a conversation.
For families
Whether you’re in the middle of a crisis, trying to understand a recent diagnosis, or navigating education that isn’t working — I’ll walk alongside you. No judgement, no pressure.
For professionals
Supporting schools, services, and practitioners who want to build safer, more responsive environments around autistic young people and their families.
What families say
“Jemma has been so supportive during one of the most difficult times of my life. She has helped me have more confidence that I know what my child needs.”
A parent navigating diagnosis
“Jemma sat with me and explained each part of the EHCP, bit by bit. I truly couldn’t have navigated the process without her.”

If you’d like to talk
There’s no pressure, no expectation to commit. Just a conversation, whenever you’re ready.
